LSDWG Meeting
December 3, 2007
AGENDA
1. Update from DCC on QA; new project selection process; Kirtas
2. From Matt Cordial--Tracking Database -- There is a need to record information about the state of items in their individual digitization and processing workflow. It is possible to generalize existing databases and tools to collect and store this information. Having a single schema and point of access to this data will allow the numerous parties involved in processing to remain "on the same page". For example, items bound for IDEALS can be easily identified and processed using a single mechanism, rather than needing an ad-hoc process for each individual collection.
3. Proposal for proceeding with codifying best practices
